While it might seem as though Prince Harry has burned every bridge there is to burn in the city of London, at least he can still count on the help and support of one of his dear cousins, Princess Eugenie. In fact, there’s a new report that suggests Eugenie might be helping the Duke of Sussex with his upcoming memoir. Here’s what you need to know.
Just last month, Harry said that he is writing his book not as a royal, but as “the man I became,” suggesting that he might focus more on the years since he and his wife Meghan Markle left the royal family. And now reports say that Harry is working with a ghost writer by the name of JR Moehringer and that he might be using Princess Eugenie as an exclusive source.
One tipster close to the situation put it this way to The Sun: “I could only imagine Eugenie talking or being approached as she is someone Harry is still in regular contact with.”
Meanwhile, for her 40th birthday, the Duchess of Sussex announced her ’40 x 40’ initiative, in which she asked 40 influential people to help mentor women and help them get back into the work force. And one of those women happen to be Prince Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Eugenie wrote on Meghan’s birthday: “To celebrate dear Meghan’s 40th birthday I’m contributing 40 minutes of mentorship to support women reentering the workforce. In the past two years, tens of millions of women around the world have departed the workforce. If you can, please join me and commit 40 minutes to community, service or mentorship.”
